About Pastor Jackie Jones Jr.
Pastor Jackie Jones Jr., originally from Gary, Indiana, was born and raised in the Church of God in Christ (COGIC)where he discovered the power and necessity of prayer and intercession at a very young age. Growing up in a spiritually rich environment helped shape his passion for the presence of God and the ministry of prayer that continues to define his life and calling today.
In addition to his spiritual formation, Pastor Jackie has always been a creative. With a background in musical theater, classical voice, and dance training, he carries a deep appreciation and heart for the artistic community and the role creativity plays in worship and ministry.
For over 17 years, Pastor Jackie served faithfully under the leadership of Archbishop William Hudson III at The Powerhouse Chicago, where he was actively involved in numerous areas of ministry and leadership development. These years of service helped shape his ministry foundation and commitment to building strong spiritual communities.
Pastor Jackie is also an author and teacher who has impacted many through his writings on prayer. In 2020, he released his first book, Prayer Agents: Impacting the World for the Kingdom of God. He followed with his second book, Prayer Activations in 2021, and later released the Prayer Agents Manual in 2023. Through these resources and his teachings, he continues to equip believers with practical tools to grow in prayer and spiritual authority.
Traveling throughout the United States—including Chicago, Houston, New York, San Diego, and beyond—Pastor Jackie trains and equips intercessors on the importance and power of prayer. His passion for corporate prayer gatherings has also led to the hosting of powerful prayer experiences, including a 24-Hour Prayer Shut-In in 2023 and 2024, a 48 Hours of Prayer gathering in 2025, and the upcoming 72 Hours of Prayer Conference scheduled for December 2026.
Pastor Jackie is a recent graduate of Warner University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Counseling Psychology. As both a mentor and counselor, he leads a mentorship program designed to help men and women grow into the best version of themselves through a combination of counseling, spiritual development, and prayer mentorship.
Today, Pastor Jackie serves as Senior Pastor of Powerhouse Houston alongside his wife, Apostle Jae Jones. Known as an atmosphere shifter, teacher, entrepreneur, and builder of intercessory armies, Pastor Jackie continues to dedicate his life to equipping believers, strengthening prayer communities, and advancing the Kingdom of God.
